About The Trail Foundation and the Seaholm Waterfront ProjectThe Trail Foundation (TTF) works to protect, enhance, and connect the 10-mile Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail at Lady Bird Lake for the benefit of all. The Trail sees over 4.5 million visits every year, and that number will continue to grow as Austin grows. The Seaholm Waterfront, located on the banks of Lady Bird Lake, is an iconic Art Deco design and once was the pump house for the Seaholm Power Plant. The facility requires extensive renovations, and TTF, Austin Parks and Recreation Department, and Austin Parks Foundation, are planning to provide necessary upgrades to allow for rejuvenation and activation of the space in the short-term, while plans for the next phase of the Seaholm Waterfront Plan are developed.
