Description

Join Sonoma Land Trust for a hike up Pole Mountain! Join Sonoma Land Trust for a guided hike up the north side of Pole Mountain. We’ll hike through the forest of the Little Black Mountain Preserve to reach the 2,204-foot summit for amazing 360-degree views of the Sonoma Coast and beyond. This is a 6-mile round-trip hike with a 1,000-foot elevation gain. Level: Strenuous There is no charge for this event, which is made possible by the voters of Sonoma County who fund the work of Ag + Open Space with a quarter-cent sales tax. Please note: Smoke, evacuations and red flag warnings may cause cancelation or modification of our hike. Please check your email at 8am the day of the hike to confirm that it is still on. COVID safety: Please come prepared to drive up a mountainous dirt road in your own vehicle or in the Sonoma Land Trust van with your mask on. We ask that you wear a mask whenever we are gathered closely as a group. You are free to take your mask off while hiking, as long as you maintain social distance from others outside of your own group.
