This is our 36th Annual BBQ Chicken Dinner Fundraiser. Plates are $10 each. Proceeds support our scholarship fund. Berne Lodge No. 724 will be holding its 36th Annual BBQ Chicken Dinner Fundraiser on Friday October 1, 2021 from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Cost is $10 and you get half of a delicious chicken, baked beans, cole slaw and a dinner roll. Meals are delicious, people love it, so please get a ticket! This is for takeout only. Beverage is not included. Proceeds support the Berne Lodge No. 724 Freshman Scholarship Fund. We'll be in the parking lot of the York Rite Temple at 2100 South Glenburnie Road, New Bern! Berne Lodge 724 is a Masonic Lodge in the 12th Masonic District under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free & Accepted Masons of North Carolina.  We are located in New Bern, NC and meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at the York Rite Temple 2100 South Glenburnie Road.  We hold fundraising events to support our charities and offer ticket sales through Eventbrite.  Proceeds go to the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford, Whitestone - A Masonic & Eastern Star Community, The Berne Lodge Scholarship Fund, and the Masonic Foundation of North Carolina which provides support to the Home of Children and to Whitestone.  We also support local law enforcement by providing a free, hot meal every May in honor of Peaces Officers' Memorial Day.  We support the Salvation Army of New Bern, and we have supported Craven Community College with book donations - remember, every September is library card sign up month and any resident of Craven County can sign up for a library card at the Craven Community College Library.  Freemasonry is a fraternal organization promoting the brotherhood of man under the fatherhood of God.  2B1ASK1
