DESCRIPTION This family of 5 is looking for an experienced, organized, kind and cheerful person to act as Household Manager and Family Assistant. Their are 3 teenage children who are responsible active adults. The 14 year old does need the FA to drive and pick her up during the week. The couple are both extremely busy professionals and seek a morning Family Assistant who could take on being Household Manager and manage the other household employees, the busy schedule, vendors and provide the main support for the household so the parents are able to focus on their careers and their daughters instead of the day to day of their beautiful home. They need someone who is RELIABLE to come in each morning at 7 am. you will typically work until 1 or 2pm and when the second Family Assistant/ Cook comes to work. The candidate will also be responsible for car maintenance, running errands, dry cleaning and grocery shopping (. This job does require some very light cooking, and someone who is going to jump in moc load and unload the dishes from the day before. This is not a household where you point the finger at someone else and say " this is your job" You should be comfortable with loading / unloading the dishwasher if needed. The family has a wonderful housekeeper. If you have a can-do attitude and love making lists, and getting things done on your list this job is perfect for you! EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS - 2 years minimum working in a private home with verifiable references EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS -Fluency in English QUALIFICATIONS -Must be tech-saavy -Excellent swimmer -Flexible schedule -Household management and family assistant experience -Cheerful disposition -Kind and loves to have fun -Must love dogs RESPONSIBILITIES -Drop-offs / pick-ups to school, activities, etc. -Research and establish a list of vendors for home maintenance and repairs -Staying on top of regularly scheduled window washing, chimney cleaning, etc. -Grocery shopping -Running errands -Dropping off / picking up dry cleaning -Loading / unloading dishwasher SKILLS -Organized -Communication skills -Takes initiative -Can anticipate needs of family Location: Atherton, California Job Type: Full-time Position: Family Assistant Schedule: 7 a.m. to 1 pm or 2pm Monday to Friday Salary Range: -$40 to $50 per hour plus Children: 3 children teenagers Pets: 1 dog . Must currently live in the SF Bay Area or surrounding area to be considered for position. . Must drive and have own car . Current CPR . Clean background check, valid Driver's License with a clean driving record . Ability to make at least a one year commitment (hopefully much longer) .
