Interwoven: A Breast Cancer Art Exhibit Art Reception and Fundraising Event A breast cancer art reception and fundraiser hosted by Broward Art Guild will take place outdoors. The exhibit will be held inside the gallery. Masks must be worn inside. Proceeds benefit Florida Breast Cancer Foundation. Events including poetry reading by Chris Joseph Stancato aka Orange Postman, performance art by Manny Mendez, Billy's Bounce flamenco guitarist, Sound Healing Musician Richard Brookens, Solo Singer Mary Chico , Mike Barra's Barracuda Band. The creations of Gustavo Garcia will benefit the charity, they were created specially for Interwoven. Merchandise by Gustavo and the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation will be sold or handed out. Florida Breast Cancer is a non-profit foundation. BCF's mission is to save lives of those impacted by breast cancer by supporting scientific research, community education, public policy through advocacy, and community-based organizations. Artists include our honoree Sandra Perini RIP, Puchi Noriega, Mali Schwartz, Alina Ko, Rosaria Vigorito, Macarena Zilveti, Caryn Laufer Frishman, and Rajul Shah. Curated by Alina Ko.
