Detroit Nonprofit Day equips professionals with the tools required to successfully build, grow, and maintain their nonprofit organization. Detroit Nonprofit Day (DND) is a one-day event comprised of workshops, fireside chats, plenaries, networking, and skills-building to strengthen Detroit’s dynamic nonprofit and social enterprise communities. The event unites leading industry experts with professionals seeking to learn and acquire the skills necessary to build and grow impactful programs, sustain their operations, and ultimately fulfill their missions. DND is brought to you by MP Consulting Group, a non-profit consulting firm led by industry leader Monique Phillips, and Bamboo Detroit, a shared workspace and business community building inclusive community and support for business growth, along with The University of Detroit Mercy School of Social Entrepreneurship. DND 2021 PROGRAMThe COVID-19 pandemic has taken an unprecedented toll on the nonprofit community, with many experiencing significant increases in demand for their services and fewer resources to do so effectively. This year, DND will recognize and honor those whose response has been to rise to the challenge in the face of adversity while demonstrating incredible resilience and charting a path toward recovery.
