Description
I've been hosting both large events (jams mostly but also a concert this Summer) which have had 40-70 people (with around a 1/3rd of the people playing music) and also smaller jams in the garage studio with like a dozen people. Usually there is a bbq, a fire pit and one or more small dogs. In the future we are hoping for an appearance by the big white dog, but she is still getting acclimated. If you are in the market, it can be a good place to meet other musicians.
The group is open to all skill levels, ages, eye colors and dimples are ok too. You can even like Trump (just might keep that to yourself haha). Typically the jams outside are acoustic or gently amplified. Jams in the garage sometimes get louder (mostly depending on who is playing drums).
We are in a slight pause on large events due to the recent covid uptick (next large jam/party planned for mid October), but I just got a large tent for the back yard and propane heater, finished enclosing/insulating the back patio and garage studio is ready to roll, so that we aren't hindered by the weather and continue to host jams into the Winter.
I’ll mention we smoke weed, drink and occasionally consume fungus. This is not a requirement, just a notice. :)
If you’d like to attend, just email me back - if you include a phone (ideal) or email, I can be sure you are notified the next time we have an event.
If you have a link to your music that is rad too.
You can find my music under the moniker of "Broken Ocean" and my prior band in Seattle was called "Pocket Panda."
Cheers!
