I have 2 female rats, can be nippy if you stick your fingers in the slots of the cage. But if you grab them they are fine with being out with you and so much sweeter. I would say about 6 months old. I have a cage I'm asking $50 for. I just bought it off Amazon for $70+. If you want the rats they are free. Only pets not food!!!
