Hello, I’m seeking a long-term full-time (40 hours per week) housekeeper to work in my private estate home. This is a full-time position Monday - Friday, but also working 1 to 2 weekends a month. There are no kids in the house, the home is a modern estate with the main house, a pool house, and guest house. The estate is a pleasant working environment, owner is a non-smoker, owner provides daily task list, owner provides all required supplies, this is not a live-in position, employee will provide their own transportation to and from work, and parking is provided. This is a unique job opportunity for someone who friendly, positive, reliable, respectful, trustworthy, speaks English, and speaking Spanish is a plus but not required. Daily Schedule: (40 hours a week) • 9am to 5:30pm • Or • 9:30am to 6pm • Lunch periods and break periods provided Requirements: • English speaking (speaking Spanish is a plus, but not required) • Enjoy assisting people who have a busy schedule with their household, personal, and business needs • Ability to work well with others • Ability to take initiative and work independently • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate • Complete daily task in a detailed, accurate and timely manner • Okay with working 1-2 weekends a month (with two days off during the week) • Some holidays required • Clean and valid CA driver’s license • No criminal record • Able to work either one of the starting schedules listed above, which can be different on some days or weeks • Okay with a small older dog, who’s very friendly and easy to deal with • Okay with working occasional events on the estate as required Job Details (Example of task, but not limited to): • Cleaning of the complete main home, pool house, guest house, etc. • Bathroom and shower cleaning • Kitchen cleaning • Floor cleaning • Bed linen changing • Laundry • Ironing clothes • Refrigerator stocking and cleaning • Dusting • Cabinet cleaning • Dishes • Window washing • Vacuum • Plant care • Dog food prep and daily dog walking • Home organization and food stocking • Daily preparation of coffee and a light breakfast for owner • Meal preparation of breakfast, lunch, and or dinner (when required) • Running errands (example: grocery store, picking up supplies, package pick up or drop off, etc.) • Packing or unpacking for owner’s travel • Assist with home maintenance by planning and coordinating with different vendors or repair companies • Holiday help • Assist with preparing and cleaning events and parties at the estate Compensation (Hourly Rate): • $14.00 per hour or more depending on experience • All California employment laws are followed • Benefits can be provided • Paid bi-weekly • Paid vacation and sick leave • Typically, no over time required Feel free to email me if you have any questions.
