PLEASANTON, CA — The bodies of two people were found in a car parked on a Pleasanton Street Saturday morning in Pleasanton. The pair had likely been dead for more than a week, according to authorities. Neither person, a man and a woman, have yet been identified. Authorities have not been able to determine a cause of death either. While there was no obvious sign of foul play, nothing has been ruled out yet, Pleasanton Police Department Lt. Erik Silacci said. "We're going through all of the investigative processes right now," Silacci told the Pleasanton Weekly. "We don't believe any foul play at this point, but we're not ruling anything out." Police responded to a report of a body found in an Acura parked near the Interstate 580 sound wall in the Pimlico Drive area at about 9:45 a.m. Sunday. Responding officers found the man and the woman inside the vehicle. Though they had been dead for some time, authorities had not received any reports about the vehicle prior to Sunday. A representative of the Alameda County Coroner's Office said Sunday night identification on both are pending. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at (925) 931-5100. Bay City News contributed to this report.
