PITTSBURGH, PA — A storied holiday tradition is returning to Pittsburgh in November. After taking a year off because of the pandemic, Light Up Night is returning with a few changes.
This year's Light Up Night, which will have Highmark as its new sponsor, will occur Saturday November 20 as part of the event's 60th anniversary celebration. Traditionally, the event has been held on a Friday, creating numerous traffic issues throughout the city.
Event details will be announced at a later date, but the evening will feature the illumination of the city skyline and the usual array of activities such as tree lightings, live music, craft foods, shopping and fireworks.
