Thank YOU for CARING!!! PLEASE: Spay & Neuter--SHELTERS stay at capacity and Family Pets should not have to ever live-- or DIE..... there alone. Are you Adopting? MAKE a plan "before you do"--- as to WHO will take care of your pet "in case"-- you can not! THAT is "the right & loving thing" to do. Listing a loved "Pet" here on "Craigs"---- should be a LAST RESORT for the incapacitated people--- NOT---- ABLE people! And most of you ARE able! Sadly these days PETS need "advocates" more than ever! "Breeding" is NOT bad, as we should realize some people love special breeds. What is bad--------- IS the "Selling" here.... which IS against the RULES....sigh.... IF you take in any Pet the "responsibility" is likely up to 20 years---if you can not COMMIT to that--- then DO NOT ever GET a PET!!!!! It IS that simple. The rest of us keep our Pets for their entire Life. With No excuses or circumstances to prevent it. It is TOO convenient to dispose of family pets and THAT is the biggest shame in our Community. Sarasota can do much better and we should SEE improvements here especially in our Craig List "neighbors" who continually post.......
