How sad. The state will force many young women, often unwed or financially unable to support a child, to give birth and then the state will refuse to assist the mother financially as Texas is currently ranked 3rd among the top 5 in poverty. How thoughtful of them....and then Texas will ensure the child is not educated enough to make a productive life for itself as Texas is 43rd out of 50 in education. So now Texas has created another dysfunctional citizen which will likely have more dysfunctional Texas babies. No wonder Texas is such a pit of ignorance. If this baby loves Texas, it's because ignorance is bliss! I'm guessing that will soon be the Texas motto.
