We are looking for a home for a 3 yr. old German Shepherd male. He is intact, and in good health. His rabies shot is current and he is on Bravecto for fleas/ticks. He is house-trained and knows commands: sit, down, heel, "high five." He is a great protector dog--nobody comes in the house or yard without him alerting. He can be intimidating to strangers, and you will have to restrain him if strangers show up unannounced. That said, he may have been mistreated by a man in the past because he definitely prefers women, and he does NOT respond well to physical discipline. He does OK with our dogs and cats (he will chase a cat if it runs, and until it stops running and then he loses interest). We have had him several months and he can be nippy if he doesn't know you well. He is extremely intelligent. Grandchildren play with him but only after getting to know him well. He loves to play fetch and with his toys. $300. No texts or emails -- they will be ignored. Call if interested. .
