Who else prefers to play a song differently every time they play it? I love spontaneity, being surprised or thrown off. Finding your way back is the fun part. Good at odd time signatures, polyrhythms, complex harmony. In my early 20s. Work as a teacher doing private lessons I tend to like jazz most but have decently wide-ranging influences (favourite artists include Miles Davis, Mingus, Monk, Dolphy, Braxton, Zappa, Hancock, Kate Bush, Fiona Apple, The Roots, Outkast, DJ Shadow, Dilla, Skip James, Mississippi John Hurt, Eric Harland, Chris Dave, Lionel Loueke, Tyshawn Sorey, sorry this is a long list)
