Discorporate, Metal band, is looking for a permanent bass player. The first album is a complex mix of Black Metal, old school Thrash, and other elements that would be condensed in the Dark Metal genre ( choir ambiances, Medieval parts, etc). Seeing the great difficulty and waste of time it was to find truly serious, dedicated and passionate musicians, we would like to warn you about what you will encounter, and what are the requirements. Read carefully : There is going to be a lot of work, and this band is *not a hobby*. Concerts are already being proposed, and we can’t afford to stress about a member being unstable, and a flake. The line up is composed of 4 members ( guitar, bass, drums, vocalist), along with a sampler playing all the synthesizers ambiances and orchestrations, which also means that the bass spot in the band is going to be very important, as you will be heard loud ( think Motörhead, B-War in Marduk, Napalm Death, etc..) Also, before contacting us, make sure that: - You know this music genre. Please do not try it. You simply know it. -You have a perfect knowledge of your instrument. You are a good and sharp player. - You can play with a pick and able to handle a big crunch/distortion tone. - You do NOT play in a zillion tribute bands or else (!!!) - You are able to learn the songs fast, without constantly asking for some tabs and videos. Everything will be provided to you (songs and bass+drums tracks) so go through the music by yourself first, then there is no problem in meeting and going through what you have already learned, correct the mistakes etc. ( We had to mention this, because some real painful past experience, and again, waste of time…).
