ARE YOU WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: We're Looking To Add 2 open-minded high-vibe, committed yet flexible hands to our team for this fall project schedule: Sept-Nov (3 mos)... 1) EXPERIENCED LANDSCAPERS, With Planting Experience √ Maybe you've had your own company or moonlighted as an independent, and now want someone else to handle the client relations. √ You have good vibes, management, flexibility, and skillset. Basically, you can manage and deliver whatever's needed professionally while having fun and just need the project and direction. √ Install projects = typically work 2-4 days a week, depending, from one-off projects to days-long projects. 2) EXPERIENCED GARDENER to independently care for local gardens: maintenance + plantings (work either independently or with another team member depending on what's needed) √ Garden Projects are usually 2-4 days a week, 2-4hrs each, one in AM one in PM, and there can often be a few more little tasks throughout the day, such as a materials or debris run. √ Be experienced at working independently, but also willing to work with a team mate (we'll find a good fit) on a team of 2. As an independent, you must come with enough experience to be able to learn what's required at each property, then plan and operate independently to successfully complete various projects throughout the week, whatever comes up. This means you'll have your own car or truck, phone, and basic tools (we'll show you what's needed if you purchase your own). Maybe you have your own LLC. You'll check in weekly and be introduced to each property on-site, and will stay in constant communication by phone and text about what's needed, what you accomplish, and the upcoming flexible schedule. If there is troubleshooting needed, you'll assess and solve it by conferring with the general contractor. WHO WE ARE: We are a small professional high-vibe team of independent entrepreneurs from various fields who are motivated to contribute a flexible part time schedule each week to this 10-year established niche garden team by pooling our collective skills. Our modus operandi is to be as professional, organic, and mindful as we can be while educating for greener options wherever possible. This is an opportunity for cultural creatives to balance their lifestyle and engage a small supportive community, while using it as an assist to go for their own unique goals on the side and in turn supporting others to go for theirs. To be considered for this opportunity, we encourage you to have your own basic needs covered in order to engage this opportunity as a creative choice, as a supplement to your existing endeavors and income. While there is more than enough work for full time, this will not be your only job. This keeps your focus on your own creative path, which is our goal: balance for cultural creatives. Outdoor work is ideal for staying grounded, active, and motivated all around. Here's How We Work: One of us is a 'general contractor' who provides a steady stream of clients. They reach out to everyone to see who has the skills and availability for each project and put together what's needed. Then we confirm your weekly schedule and show up to do whatever's needed for each project as a team of independents working seamlessly together. Some of us do garden maintenance, some do garden drip irrigation, some put in edging, mulch, rock or hardscape materials, some lay flagstone or build retaining walls, some help with planting (flowers, shrubs, trees) and staging, some drive a bobcat for making berms/placing boulders/planting trees, some do design, and we all move dirt. It's a great way to balance and support everyone's unique lifestyle.
