I have a rehearsal space with an 8 piece set (double bass pedal, 6 toms, snare, hi hat, 3 crash, 1 ride, 1 China). I have all original songs. I would say it could be an alternative sound. Some of it could be called metal, some radio friendly rock, some acoustic, some could even be country(ish) driven. Think of the wide range of Smashing Pumpkins, Stone Temple Pilots, Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters. Could also use bass and keyboards, but a drummer is priority. Really want to get this moving, so hit the reply button. Smash it. Do a fucking double bass drum roll on it! Just do it.
