Columbus Gives Back invites you to join us for a remembrance and fundraiser for Mothers Against Drunk Driving Columbus Gives Back invites you to join us for the Central Ohio Walk like MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers) event at Homestead Park in Hilliard. We need people to help set up in the morning and to register walkers, along with other varied tasks depending on what people like to do. MADD needs the support and could really use the help to conduct this very special event to spread the message and remember the victims of DUI. When: Saturday, October 23rd (9:30AM - 1:00PM, and check out our first shift here) Event Leaders: [email protected] Where: Homestead Park, 4675 Cosgray Rd. Hilliard, OH 43026. Everyone will meet at the Lakeside Shelter! COVID-19 Precautions: Columbus Gives Back is following all recommended social / hygiene protocols. Masks are no longer required for outdoor events but please bring one to the event in case our nonprofit partners require them. Masks and social distancing are still required for all indoor events. Additionally, if you were exposed before or test positive after having participated in a CGB event, please contact the event leader or reach out to [email protected] so that we can best support contact tracing efforts. About Columbus Gives Back: Columbus Gives Back coordinates group volunteer events with local non-profits, organizes philanthropic happy hours to raise support and awareness for our non-profit partners, and participates in other philanthropic events while emphasizing our social twist: to have fun with volunteers new and old during and after events in the hopes of creating a culture of community engagement amongst our target audience of young professionals. #SocialTwist: We have begun re-introducing social twists, where we invite volunteers to hang out with us after an event to have fun doing something local! As of May 1st, outdoor/patio social twists will be coordinated at the discretion of event leaders and volunteers.
