Raku & Brew with Jack Valentine & Eighty-Three Brewery ($45 Sun Vase or $45 Sun Tile) RAKU & BREW, Participants can select from pre-made ceramic sun tile or sun vase. These Don Drumm influenced pieces have been created specifically for the 50th anniversary. A variety of glazes will be provided. When glazing has been completed each piece will be Raku fired on site. Your artwork will be placed in a reduction chamber during the cooling process, which will cover the piece in black soot. Participants will scrub the piece clean. Gloves will be provided. The entire process from start to finish is one and one half hours. Pieces will be ready to go home at the end of the class.
