Make your own holiday wreath to take home while you learn how to ID our NJ native evergreen trees! All materials included. DESCRIPTION: Looking for a fun way to “spruce” up your home for the season while at the same learning about the importance of evergreens in your backyard? Lorrimer Sanctuary’s Director Kirsten Holt will teach you the techniques necessary to create a wreath that rivals the high-end products you’ve been admiring all season long! In the process you’ll learn to identify common evergreen trees by their leaves and cones, and understand the local ecology of NJ coniferous trees. All participants will go home with a one-of-a-kind, handmade wreath. All materials included in price. COST: $25 members $30 nonmembers NEW JERSEY AUDUBON'S PROGRAM GUIDELINES: All staff and participants must wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status while indoors. Sanitizing stations and plexiglass will remain in place to continue to encourage people to be mindful of health practices and to respect people’s personal space. CANCELLATION: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance. Sorry, no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance unless due to health emergencies; however registrations can be transferred to another program in the future.
