Entry to Jefferson School African American Heritage Center During the pandemic we will be operating with limited hours. Our permanent exhibition Pride Overcomes Prejudice is available Tuesday -Friday 1pm-6pm and Saturday 10 am -1 pm. Our contemporary gallery is open with a new exhibition Robert Reed's Charlottesville on view September 25-December 26. To ensure we maintain a safe space we are limiting group visits to no more than 8 people. If you are a group and interested in a tour please contact our education department at [email protected]. The health and wellbeing of our community is our first priority by acquiring this ticket you confirm that you have not tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 14 days or been required to be in a quarantine during the last 7 days. You further affirm that you have not been in contact with anyone suspected of or diagnosed with COVID-19. I additionally attest that when I attend this in-person event, I am not experiencing any of the following symptoms; fever, cough, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, or persistent pain in the chest. I also attest that I have not been out of the country or state within the last seven days. I agree to remain masked and socially distanced from attendees for the duration of my attendance.
