Glen Head (Near Glen Cove & Oyster Bay) Long Island Experienced & Energetic Driving Nanny Needed for SUPER nice family! 8.30 am - 6pm Mon-Thurs; 8.30 am-5 pm Fri. $1,300 to $1,400 net per week. Job is for a nanny who is VERY interactive with kids, has MANY years of paid childcare experience, genuinely loves kids and doesn’t use the phone much at work. 2 sweet and active kids ages 14 months old and 3 years old. The older child is in school during the day so you will play with the 18 month old, read to him, engage him in simple outdoor sports / make healthy kid appropriate meals for him during the day. After school you will care for both kids. Younger Child (14 months): read, flashcards, puzzles, simple crafts, listen to/play music, go to park next door, prepare/feed lunch, nap, diapers (now), potty training support in 6+ months. Older Child (3 years): Read, color, puzzles, drive to pick up from school, simple fun crafts, play at park next door and generally be safety aware and give compliments and support to both children to help build self-confidence. Parents will provide a car for you to use while you are working. College courses in a child related field are a plus, but not required at all.
