The Foundation, AIA Austin, and friends come together to recognize recipients of the prestigious AIA Austin Honor Awards. Form:Function is an Austin Foundation for Architecture celebration and benefit featuring the prestigious AIA Austin Honor Award winners, including the Alan Yamato Taniguchi, FAIA, Award for Public Architecture jointly presented by the Austin Foundation for Architecture. Ticket sales and sponsorships benefit the programs and activities of the Austin Foundation for Architecture, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to promoting the positive impact of architecture for all Austinites. The Austin Foundation for Architecture is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Founded for the development of the general public's education, awareness, and appreciation for architecture, and to promote responsible stewardship of the Central Texas environment; and, Development of sustainable architectural leadership for AIA Austin, and other public, professional, and community organizations in Central Texas.
