Learn the must have tools for your Home Repair Toolbox. Build confidence using your drill to hang pictures, change out knobs and more! Want to make some updates to your home but don't know how to start? We'll start at the beginning and show you how to build your Home Repair Toolbox, then take a deeper dive into the essential cordless drill. We'll cover what to look for when purchasing a drill, the when & why of various bits, the purpose of pilot holes and tips for dealing with stripped screws. Workshop participants will build confidence using drills with hands on practice. We'll cover hanging items on plaster and drywall, changing out knobs/pulls and more. Our instructor is ERW Director of Workforce Training and Deconstruction Services Anne Nicklin. Anne is an architect with many years of experience in construction, deconstruction and home repair.
