In a role focused on providing strategic guidance and innovation across the Southwest enterprise, his current specialty is leveraging the power of social response and listening tools to uncover insights that lead to action in Southwest’s state-of-the-art social Media Listening Center. Before joining Southwest, John helped drive social media strategy at AT&T where his primary goal was blowing people’s minds with top-notch ideas and making ROI dreams come true. John is a graduate of Baylor University, where he received both a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, and a Master of Divinity degree. About Lorren Thomas Lorren Thomas likes to think of herself as a “social business strategist” and “influencer marketing maven.” She is a part of the Social Business team at Southwest Airlines, where her main responsibilities include managing its always-on influencer program: the Southwest Storytellers, as well as its group of avid flyers and Southwest enthusiasts, known as the Southwest Community Champions. Before working at Southwest Airlines, Lorren held many communication roles, from director of communications for an energy startup to account manager at Fleishman Hillard. Lorren received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Texas, and a master’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce. About David Valentine David Valentine is the founder and CEO of Avadel, a global social media and digital advertising firm. David is a digital and social media marketing expert with over 15 years of experience watching, following, and setting marketing trends. He has worked with national, regional, and local brands to create integrated marketing plans that define their position in the marketplace, drive sales, and increase marketing ROI. David is a graduate of George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, where he received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. David also loves to win and really enjoys good beer.
