Hello there! My name is Kelsey. My husband and I recently moved to the Ellensburg area. We have 3 children, ages 10, 3, and 6 months. I am at home with my 6 month old Monday-Friday. My 3 year old attends all day preschool W-F but she is home Mondays and Tuesdays. I am anticipating being at home until my youngest is in preschool but I’d love to find a family that needs childcare and would prefer a home environment. I will be accepting up to 2 children to make a total of 4 including my 2 girls. I do have professional nanny experience as well as experience teaching in an early learning setting. I have my STARS training, bloodborne pathogens training, a recent Negative TB test, recent Tdap and MMR vaccinations as well as Covid-19 vaccination. I have an associate of science in pre-nursing studies. I have taken extensive coursework in lifespan psychology and childhood development. I am certified in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers including Adult, child, and infant CPR. In my home we do not have screen time during the day. We facilitate outside play whenever possible, including in moderate rainy conditions. We like to spend time working on age appropriate milestones. I have a variety of toys and supplies for every type of play. I like to do season specific arts and crafts at least twice a week. I am happy to include any type of holidays your family celebrates. I am able to provide care M-F between the hours of 7:00am and 6:00pm. I will be charging 200$ a week. I will provide an am snack at 9:30 and pm snack at 4:00 but your child will need to bring their own lunch and a water bottle (If over 1 yr). I am experienced in handling/heating breastmilk and formula as well as hunger cues. I also understand paced feeding and other breastfed baby techniques for bottle feeding without nipple confusion. I do have a 7 yr old Australian Shepherd that will be home with us. She is wonderful with children and very well trained as she used to be a show dog.
