Weekly rated chess tournament played over the board at our chess club in Garden Grove, California 3-rounds of G: 85 minutes with 5-second delay. Beginner sections has 4-rounds of Game 45 minutes with 5-second delay. Entry fee: $30 by midnight Friday. ($45 for same day registration) Prize money based on number of entries. Over-the-board chess tournament at the chess club at 5246 Lampson Ave. Garden Grove, CA 92845. Parking is free. Hand sanitizers will be provided at each board and disposable gloves are available. Bring your own tournament-regulation plastic set if available. Registration starts at 9 AM with rounds estimated at 9:30 am, 1:00 pm, and 4:00 pm (if rounds finish early, we can start the next rounds earlier.) (Beginner section will have the following round times 9:30 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 2:30 pm. If all the players finish the round early, the next game may be played earlier than the time indicated.) If you experience any sickness on the day of the tournament, please do not come in. Send us an email and we will give a full refund or credit for a tournament for the following week.
