Description

Tempe turns 150 in 2021 and we are going to celebrate! Join us for a free, family-friendly festival with music, activities, food and fun! This once-in-a-150-years event features two stages of entertainment, hands-on history activities for all ages (including adults), art projects. See what was buried in a time capsule 25 years ago and write a letter to the future. Enjoy a variety of food and drink near each stage, and a beer and wine garden. See lots of artisans, craft-makers and vendors with items "Made in Tempe." Plus community and history displays, a bouncy house area, "field of dreams" to hit and pitch. This festival celebrates Tempe, it's past, present and future. Come join us! Tempe Historical Society leads the partners in planning the activities of Hayden's Ferry Days, a celebration of the Founding of Tempe. Partners include the City of Tempe Arts & Culture, Tempe Sister Cities, Friends of Tempe Library, Tempe Historic Preservation Foundation, and Rio Salado Foundation.
