My name is Jessica. I am a 34 year old female. I am energetic, reliable, and trustworthy person who enjoys working with younger children. I do not drive but I do have reliable transportation and I do not speak Spanish. I can start ASAP and would like to stay in the 79936-79938 area. Experience: Up until May 2008 I have been volunteering at family service of Rhode Island with a group of children ranging in age from two to thirteen. My duties while volunteering were : engaging children in arts and crafts and play activities and assisting with behavior management. I also worked one day a week with a one year old boy in the mornings for about 3 hours each day as a mother's helper. In Febuary 2008- November 2008 I was working as a nanny for a 12 month old, 7 year old and a 4 year old. My duties included light housework, playing with the children, giving them lunch and breakfast, and walking the 6 year old to and from the bus stop. I also have worked as a mothers helper for a mother with 5 children ranging from 1-5. My duties can include watching 2-4 children during doctor,dentist appointments, helping watch the children at the store, watching and playing with the children while they are playing, and helping with bed time rountines. I also have done a few overnights and occasional babysitting for a mother of a 1 year old boy. Lastly I also work as a babysitter for two childen ages 2 and 4. My duties include helping with breakfast and lunch, walking to the playground or library to play or attend storytime, have them nap and have snack, help with light housekeeping(empty dishwasher, sweep the floor where the kids ate, fold laundry). From February 2009- October 2009, I was working at Jungle Gym Preschool with children ages 18 months- school age. My duties included, helping students with their work, light cleaning when needed, helping plan and implement lesson plans and interacting in teaching students in play and learning. Since December 2009 until March 8, 2019 I have been working for a disabled man (my father) helping him with his everyday living skills and needs. (He passed which is why I am seeking other opportunities). In April 2019 I began working with a family with 5 children ranging from 2-11. For this family I did occasional, longterm for a week- a month all 24hrs when needed by the parents. This lasted until July 2020 when they moved as they were military. I also am babysitting when needed for a family with 2 boys, a family with 2 girls, and another family with a boy and a girl. ( I know this is long... 😆) I also during this summer vacation went to Florida and helped my sister and biological mother with my 2 9 month old nieces. My rate is $9.00 an hour or a weekly/daily rate but I am willing to work with you on prices.
