Emcee for the event will be Frank Capra's granddaughter, Monica Capra Hodges. "The fanciest whing-ding in many a movie moon.” (Virginia McPherson - "Let's Gossip") Join members of the Capra Family and actors from “It’s a Wonderful Life” for a re-creation of Frank Capra's Preview Dinner held at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles December 9, 1946. The same "scrumptious menu" will be served, including a "Los Angeles Salad." (Menu also includes Shrimp Cocktail, Tenderloin of Beef, Potatoes Au Gratin, String Beans Julienne, Strawberry Romanoff Coupe). Mynderse Academy (105 Troy Street) will turn into the Beverly Hills High School – where the filming of “It’s a Wonderful Life” started. All participants must show proof of a completed vaccine regimen and be prepared to wear a mask.
