Join us for Haggis Celtic Concerts Presents: Enda Reilly in concert at our Scottish Cultural Center on Friday, November 19 at 7:30 p.m.
Join us for an amazing night of song and story with Enda Reilly direct from Dublin, Ireland by way of Michigan, U.S.A. He is a folk singer, songwriter and guitarist drawing influences from the likes of Christy Moore, John Martyn, Nick Drake and Dick Gaughan. Enda Reilly’s work invites you to see the world from his varied and unique perspective through each new song, which are explorations, meditations, affirmations, introductions, reminder notes, science-art experiments, wake-up calls, mythical journeys, collaborations, prayers and celebrations. Among Enda’s accomplishments as a songwriter he won the IMRO Christy Hennessy Songwriting Competition 2012 and his co-write with Aoife Scott, All Along The Wild Atlantic Way, won Single Of The Year in Ireland in 2017.
The society was established in 1979 and since then we have been committed to supporting the Dunedin Middle and High School Pipe Bands, and City Highland Dancing programs, in order to help provide an educational path to pursue the love of the Scottish Arts. Many of our more than 200 members hail from the British Isles adding their knowledge of the customs and traditions we all enjoy.
