Join Broward Cultural Division and Vice Mayor Michael Udine for a happy hour and discussion on NFTs and their impact on artists.
Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) have shaken up the art world. Over the last year, record NFT sales have dominated news headlines and are increasingly attracting interest from art collectors, galleries and artists who are discovering a new world of possibilities for buying and selling art.
Join Broward Cultural Division and Vice Mayor Michael Udine for a happy hour where you’ll learn all about NFTs and blockchain and how to safely navigate this new art and technology space.
Presenters will be attorney Joshua Lida, director of art and business law at the firm Twig Trade & Tribunal, and Dan Mikesell, president of Blackdove, an app and platform for buying, selling, and displaying digital art. This event will be of special interest to artists interested in entering the NFT marketplace.
Doors open at 5:30PM, session begins at 6PM. Free to attend with RSVP, limited seating available. Light refreshments will be served.
