Join us for activities, guided walks, and crafts as we celebrate the first day of Winter! DESCRIPTION: Join us around the campfire as we celebrate the first day of winter! During this celebration, you will learn what a winter solstice is, where the wildlife goes this time of year, and about the many cultural celebrations centered around the darkest day of the year. Additionally, we will discover the extraordinary celestial events happening now! Bundle up! This celebration will be held entirely outdoors. COST: $10 members / $12 nonmembers NEW JERSEY AUDUBON'S PROGRAM GUIDELINES: All staff and participants must wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status while indoors. Sanitizing stations and plexiglass will remain in place to continue to encourage people to be mindful of health practices and to respect people’s personal space. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Dress appropriately for the weather. This program is entirely outdoors. CANCELLATION: : NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance. Sorry, no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance unless due to health emergencies; however registrations can be transferred to another program in the future.
