My ring was stolen after I had pawned it at Santa Rosa Pawn. The only thing the owner was willing to pay me for my $5,000 diamond ring was to forgive my $350 loan in exchange for a full release of the pawn shop and its crooked owner. Obviously, I didn't owe the loan money either way since the pawn shop could not give me my ring back.
