We are a small, locally-owned custom finishing and cabinet shop in search of a helper to assist with the custom finishing and the day-to-day shop operations. The right Team Player is willing to learn all facets of the shop operations and grow in knowledge without taking constructive criticism personally. Responsibilities included, but not limited to: • Experience with spraying lacquer paint and staining by hand • Performing tasks required to prep surfaces for finishing, staining, paint, and finishing of cabinets and other wood pieces • Ability to correct imperfections and complete repairs as necessary • Experience with necessary power/hand tools related to cabinet finishing and building • Color matching skills to match stains and custom colors • Attention to detail • Ability to work with minimal guidance • Maintain a neat and clean shop Candidates must have reliable transportation to work, excellent work ethics, finishing equipment and tool experience, and the ability to lift-up to 50 pounds.
