Members made the decision in a special meeting after a federal judge blocked Iowa's law preventing schools from making mask mandates. School board President Lonnie Dafney said she'd received hundreds of emails expressing opinions both for and against masks. According to the Windsor Heights Fire Department, four townhomes were destroyed in the fire. Crews have yet to determine where the fire started or what caused the flames.
