Press release from the City of Wilkes-Barre: September 17, 2021 - 4:51pm Beginning Monday September 20th, the North Washington St. entrance to City Hall will be closed to all pedestrian traffic for approximately three weeks.   D & W Construction, the Company constructing the new City Hall elevator will be building a temporary ADA accessible entrance at that location.  This will eventually serve as the ADA Accessible entrance during the construction of the new elevator.
