Press release from Kendall County Sheriff's Office: 09/18/2021 3:31 AM 9/17/21 2021-2606, Theft: On 9/17/21 at 7:15 p.m., sheriff's deputies responded to the 100 block of Tealwood Road, Oswego Township for a report of a theft. The investigation is ongoing. 2021-2606, Theft: 2021-2608, Domestic Battery:  On 9/18/21 at 12:26 a.m., sheriff's deputies investigated a domestic battery which occurred in the area of Galena Road and Vilmin Road, Little Rock Township.  Corinne R. Mewmaw, a 26-year-old female from the 300 block of Mulhern Ct., Yorkville, was taken into custody for domestic battery.  Mewmaw was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing. The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
