Press release from the Wright County Government: September 16, 2021 The Wright County License Center has announced that approximately 600 appointments for renewing driver's licenses will open at 8 a.m. tomorrow (Sept. 17). The appointments will cover the period of Sept. 27 to Oct. 8. Appointments are served on time and walk-ins are served in the order they check in. Walk-in hours are 8-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. daily. Those who are checked into the queue will be processed in order of check in and customer wait time depends on volume. All transaction types can be processed at the indoor Service Counter. However, walk-in customers will typically find shorter wait times for transactions that do not require a photo by using the outdoor walk-up window on the south parking deck of the Government Center between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Appointments can be made by going to the Wright County website and clicking on the "Make an Appointment" tab on the left side of the home page.
