Press release from Ramsey County Government: September 16, 2021 Beginning Monday, Sept. 20, Cleveland Avenue will be closed to through traffic from Dudley Avenue to Larpenteur Avenue for utility work. A signed detour will be in place using Como Avenue, Eustis Avenue and Larpenteur Avenue. Flaggers will control traffic during the day on two sections of Cleveland Avenue: These sections will be open overnight to maintain residential and University of Minnesota access. The closure and flaggers are expected to last through mid-October. Major reconstruction of Cleveland Avenue from Como Avenue to Larpenteur Avenue is still planned to begin in 2022 after the project was delayed this construction season.
