Meet Toffee! Toffee is a 3-month-old spayed female Miniature Smooth Haired Dachshund Mix. Toffee came to TCHS as a transfer from another facility. She is a puppy, and will need an owner willing to work with her on consistent training to help her learn some manners. Also, as sweet as candy… Katie, a 12-years-young spayed female housetrained Border Collie Mix. She came to TCHS due to her previous owner no longer being able to care for her. Katie enjoys playing a game called "use your nose". She would find the treats her previous owner would purposely hide around the house for her. She is afraid of small children. Katie is a very sweet girl who loves being around her people. Katie knows the commands sit, stop, come, down, and move. She knows hand signals for these commands as well.
