Description
People of Anchorage should know just what is going on with Sullivan's Arena. There are over 400 people staying in there, sleeping on cots, pads, on the floor. A majority of the people are drunk or on spice. It is basically an insane asylum. The transition from Bean's Cafe to 99 plus 1 has disrupted what was a pretty safe place for the Anchorage homeless population to stay.
Now it has turned in to something else. Alcohol, drugs, abuse, weapons. Something like a psychotic Mad Max movie.
99 plus 1 may have good intentions, however they do not know what they have stepped in to.
The city of Anchorage needs to take action otherwise Anchorage is going to have a very real problem with homeless, psychotic, inebriated people camping, stealing and just trying to survive. Winter is close, will you take these people into your home?
