Bass/Guitar player looking for musicians

I'm 38, married/kids/career, used to be cool. Used to play in rock and punk bands. Politically/socially left-of-center. I live in Killeen. My main instrument is the bass, but I've played guitar in groups, too. I'd love to meet some cool people to play music with. I'm into the following stuff, but that doesn't mean that I'd ONLY play this stuff... Zappa, The Beatles, Soundgarden, Ty Segall, Thee Oh Sees, SLEEP, anything with Jello Biafra in it, like The Melvins, or Dead Kennedys I also love jazz like Max Roach, Coltrane, some John Mclaughlin stuff...downtempo music like Amon Tobin, Ninja Tune artists, Jungle and DnB, etc I have a practice space, but I work during the week, so time is always the issue. It would be fun to gig around here, but the audience for this kind of music would probably mostly be college kids in Austin - that said, people in Bell county would probably dig a set of 90s alt-radio covers, which would also be fun to practice and play.
