Description

So I’ve posted on here before, but I ended up keeping him because I thought things would get better. But they have it. I have a 65 pound Weimereiner mix. He is eight years old. He is fully house trained, as in he hasn’t had an accident in the house in the five years I have owned him. He knows sit, stay, drop it, go to bed, lay down, high five, go find your ball, and paw. He walks well on a leash. He is absolutely amazing with kids, and with people. You may be wondering, what is the problem then? He seems to be selectively dog aggressive. He has gotten in numerous fights with numerous dogs. However, until now, he has never lashed out at any dogs we have owned. But today he attacked our very small poodle. We just cannot take the risk anymore. I was right there when it happens, and he definitley sees me as alpha, so it shows me he does not care who is around…he will attack a “family member.” With that said, he obviously CANNOT be in a home that has other pets. I’m not sure about cats. He would be the very best companion for a family with kids and no other dogs, or an older couple. He is a very good dog. Like I said, no accidents, he also doesn’t chew. He does quite like to be on furniture, but if you tell him no, he listens! His favorite toys are squeaky tennis balls. He loves to play fetch. This breaks my heart in pieces to have to rehome him, and my kids hearts. But living in a neighborhood, I can no longer risk a lawsuit of him getting out of the fence or home and attacking another dog, or even worse, attacking our other dog, again. Please text me anytime at , for photos and any information. I really just want to see him go to a good home. His name is Rocky. He will come with his bed, large food and water ball, and his tennis balls.. We are located in Radcliff, Kentucky. I would prefer for you to come meet/pick him up at my home.
