Looking for additional players in a live hip hop band

Description

Hey all, Currently looking to put together a live hip hop band. So far we are a drummer and an emcee, searching for the rest of the players. The ideal lineup, at least initially, would be a four-piece: Drums (we’ve got that covered), bass, and keys (or possibly guitar). We would ideally add another emcee at some point, although if other players can rap or provide backup vocals while playing, this may not be that important. We’re leaning towards finding keys first, for melodic support and sonic versatility, but a guitarist with some pedal game could fit in too. It’d also work to have two keys players (with one taking the bass role when needed). Right now we’re just practicing covers (Thrift Shop, No Sleep Til Brooklyn, Insane In The Brain and a few others), but the eventual goal would be to create some original work as well and play our shows with a mix of covers and originals. The drummer’s garage in Oregon City has been our jam spot so far, which is fine for now, but we would like to eventually move into a slightly bigger space once we have more than three players on board. This might mean going in ($) on a rehearsal room. Looking for reliable players with some experience and their own gear and transportation (we have our own as well), with an overall-chill temperament and down to forge something dope and organic with other hip hop aficionados.
