Orinda Assistant Manager Contra Costa Certified Farmers’ Markets Inc. (CCCFM) Part-time Hourly Wage $20 Hours: Saturdays, from 6:30am - 2:30pm Assistant Manager - Saturdays (Occasional Sunday) The Orinda Farmers' Market is hiring! We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team Saturday and act as a relief Manager for our Sunday Farmers' Market in Walnut Creek, as needed. Assistant Manager will, under the direction of the Market Manager, help set up /pack-up the market (tents, chairs, tables and gear). Additional tasks are assisting with special programs such as food incentives, community outreach and education, including kids activities. Incredibly rewarding, fun and helps support your healthy lifestyle. Being a self-starter and having the ability to both take direction and take the lead when needed is a vital skill for this position. Event and/or program or project management experience a big plus.
