Job description Nelthorpe & Son Appliance has been operating in the Sacramento Valley for over 100 years and is a leader in the residential appliance industry. Our company prides itself in providing excellent customer service by also providing a great work environment. We are currently looking to expand our delivery and warehouse team with a new full-time position. Qualifications: -Must have current CA driver's license--***No DUI*** -Must pass a drug, lift and background test -Mechanical ability and knowledge of basic hand and power tools -Willingness to work with heavy equipment in tight spaces -Forklift certified a plus but not required Job Duties: -Assisting on deliveries and installing all residential appliances such as: refrigerators, washers, dryer, ranges, dishwashers, hoods, microwaves, ovens, cooktops and more. -Working with gas, water and electrical connections. -Working directly with customers going over their new purchase and how to correctly operate it. -Scheduling with sales staff and customers. -L.P. (Propane) Conversions -Warehouse Organization including breakdown cardboard and garbage, disposing of old appliances and other duties. -Flooring new models and becoming familiar with them.
