Description
You said corporate greed causes most inflation. I say government spending does if excessive.
Here is a simple Google search result:
“ The dollar had an average inflation rate of 2.10% per year between 2000 and 2019, producing a cumulative price increase of 48.47%. This means that prices in 2019 are 1.48 times higher than average prices since 2000, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics consumer price index. The 2000 inflation rate was 3.36%.”
Now under Biden we have a 5.3% inflation rate (thats DOUBLE the last 20 year averages) There is no evidence in the world to suggest Corporations have suddenly became more greedy. However since Biden came to office he has spent trillions on unusual stimulus bills and wants to spend up to ELEVEN trillion more.
So it’s obvious you are incorrect as this inflation spike has almost perfectly mirrored increase in spending.
