Re-homing sweet 1 year old cat

We adopted sweet Xander as a kitten from the shelter. From the first, he was aggressive towards our beloved older cat. As he has gotten older, it has only gotten worse, to the point of injuring the other cat and trying to run him off the property. We have tried many things to no avail. Otherwise, he is great. He's 1 1/2 yrs old, healthy, active, affectionate; loves to cuddle (he's so soft!!) - unless he's on a mission. Smart as a whip and great personality. He gets along well with our two dogs. He needs to be in a household without other cats. He would be unhappy unless provided some outdoor access, but also miserable as an outdoor only cat. We really want to see him in a happy home and he has much love to give. Will ask for vet reference.
